Database Assistant - The Markosoft Database Assistant is an all-in-one database access tool for use in viewing and editing data from virtually every major type of database including Oracle, MS SQL Server, Informix, MS Access, Sybase, and dBase. Features include the ability to perform wildcard queries, insert, update and remove records, query generating capabilities, free-form queries, and the ability to create ASCII files and insert records from ASCII files.

Additionally, the Database Assistant provides a way to pre-configure all of the data sources that you commonly use, which also provides a way to select a database in just seconds using a single button click.

Finally, shortcuts for accessing FTP accounts via the WS_FTP application can be created with the Database Assistant and quick access menu options are available for displaying individual table definitions and for viewing the records in a list view.

The Database Assistant includes an easy to use interface and many advanced features that are not even found in much more expensive database access applications. Additionally, the flexibility of performing direct entry into data fields or using free-form SQL statements for updating and retrieving records along with a much lower purchase price gives the Database Assistant a definite advantage over the competition. As part of our service, Markosoft Inc. agrees to provide freely downloadable evaluation versions of this software. Markosoft Inc. agrees to provide this service free of charge. Upon notice published by Markosoft Inc., Markosoft Inc. may amend or modify these Terms of Service at any time. You agree to use the service in accordance with the Terms of Service.

General

The product is owned by Markosoft. All rights in the product including License Agreement Number, copyrights, licensing rights, patents, trademarks, trade secrets, design rights, engineering rights, moral rights, and any other intellectual property rights belong to Markosoft. These rights are not transferred as part of this agreement.

No part of the product including the License Agreement may be reproduced, published, transmitted electronically, mechanically or otherwise, transcribed, stored in a retrieval system or translated into any language in any form, by any means, for any purpose other than the purchaser's personal use, without the express written permission of Markosoft.

End User License Agreement

This license agreement is a legal agreement between you the end user (either as an individual or an entity) and Markosoft Inc. herein after referred to as Markosoft . The software and any of its supporting documentation and associated hardware are herein after referred to as the product .

By installing or using the product, you indicate your complete and unconditional acceptance of these terms and conditions. If you do not agree to the terms and conditions of this agreement promptly remove the product form your computer and destroy associated documentation.

Should there be any conflict between the terms and conditions of this agreement and the terms and conditions of any other agreement between you and Markosoft or their servants or agents in relation to the product the terms and conditions of this agreement shall apply.

If any provision of this agreement is found to be unlawful or void then that provision shall be severed from this agreement and will not affect the validity of the remaining provisions.

Information contained in the product is subject to change without notice and does not represent a commitment or contracted obligation on the part of Markosoft.

Evaluation License Agreement

This Evaluation License Agreement grants you a non-exclusive License to use the product for an evaluation period of thirty (30) days from the date you install the product. On the thirtyfirst (31) day after you installed the product you must either register the product by means of purchasing a License Agreement from Markosoft or destroy all copies of the product in your possession, and any related documentation.

You may make a single copy of the software only and no other part of the product in a machine readable form for backup use only.

This License Agreement is not transferable. You may not lend, loan, lease, rent, sell or distribute the product (or copies) in any form.

Limitations of Use

You are expressly forbidden from making alterations or modifications to, merge, adapt, de-compile, disassemble, reverse engineer, or attempt to discover the source code without the expressed written permission from Markosoft. You are expressly forbidden from using any part of the product in life saving or life critical applications without the expressed written permission from Markosoft.

Disclaimer of Warranty

THE SOFTWARE AND DOCUMENTATION ARE PROVIDED AS IS WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, MARKOSOFT INCORPORATED FURTHER DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NONINFRINGEMENT.THE ENTIRE RISK ARISING OUT OF THE USE OR PERFORMANCE OF THE SOFTWARE AND DOCUMENTATION REMAINS WITH YOU.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL MARKOSOFT INCORPORATED OR ITS SUPPLIERS BE LIABLE FOR ANY CONSEQUENTIAL, INCIDENTAL, DIRECT, INDIRECT, SPECIAL, PUNITIVE, OR OTHER DAMAGES WHATSOEVER (INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF BUSINESS PROFITS, BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, LOSS OF BUSINESS INFORMATION, OR OTHER PECUNIARY LOSS) ARISING OUT OF THIS AGREEMENT OR THE USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE PRODUCT, EVEN IF MARKOSOFT INCORPORATED HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. BECAUSE SOME STATES/JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF LIABILITY FOR CONSEQUENTIAL OR INCIDENTAL DAMAGES, THE ABOVE LIMITATION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
